Otterbox Defender

So I just bought the Defender for my S4. I'm really unhappy with it. I bought the marine color, which is fine but the outside silicone case is so stiff it makes for using the sleep/volume rocker really difficult.

Anyone else experience the same issue?

I have one, and I'm really pleased with it. Yes, the buttons are Sometimes a bit stiff but I think they're improving with time.

Still, this type of protection will have this drawback. Cases that don't cover the buttons won't protect them.

An idea is to check the alignment of the bits inside the case with the buttons. Maybe that can be improved.

I'm really thinking about ordering the Seidio OBEX. I've also noticed that there is a slight gap between the screen protector and the actual device screen.

Yeah they are really good I used to use one on my galaxy note. It does add a lot of weight though.

I have one, marine as well, and my biggest gripe is it's slick. Good thing the protection is good cause I've dropped it already twice cause it's just slick.
But, it looks good.
The buttons get looser with time.
