The day that HHGregg has the phone in stores and when verizon ships our pre-orders are not relevant at all. The reason verizon updates there pre-ordering shipping date is for the people pre-ordering right now so that they have an accurate date.

It makes sense. Seeing as i pre-ordered the first day you could i should get my phone either on/or before the day that the person who pre-orders right now gets there's.

Sadly, your right about that. Verizon is terrible at notifying its customers when devices will become available.

I'm hoping, spoke with Samsung on Saturday and they said verizon would be making an announcement soon. Hope it ships before the 9th

Doesn't seem to be happening before the 9th. A lot of preorders are now showing an expected ship date of 7/9/12

It is a good thing I bought mine from Verizon and not HHGregg.
