Out of the Loop - It's Been Awhile

Today is the 5 month anniversary of the arrival of my 2XL and I absolutely love this phone. The camera is awesome and I am really impressed with the whole thing.

I didn't post here for a couple months because I was too busy just enjoying the Pixel 2XL without having to think about it. It's just an amazing phone - there was no need to overthink it or constantly analyze it anymore or read about it. Not thinking about your phone in my case means it's really doing it's job well. No slowdowns, zero performance issues, it just works - and really really well. I was even dead set on upgrading to the Pixel 3XL when it comes out but I have been second guessing that.

I have been taking care of my battery though. I rarely charge it to 100% and never let it get below 25%. I usually keep it charged between 30% and 80%. So in case I do keep this phone when the Pixel 3 comes out, it will still be going strong battery wise.

I'll add that I too plan to get the Pixel 3 XL when it is introduced. When I got my Pixel 2 XL my wife inherited my old Nexus 6. And since we both have Google phones, we went with Google Fi. We both work from home and are on fast WiFi at home and have WiFi literally wherever we go. It's been great and the price is right!

Thankfully she could care less about technology and just wants a phone that makes calls and has "OK Google" on it so she can use the Google Assistant. She does look forward to getting my Pixel 2 XL when I go to the Pixel 3 XL. Of course I'm pleased with how this is working out!

Still have a 2xl but currently using an S9 (couldn't resist). Think I'll be switching the SIM back soon though!

If the 2XL had a 256gb option I'd be quite content till the 3XL........

love mine camera is still the best I have ever used. I love the fact it hasn't slowed down still best experience software wise I have ever had pixel 2 XL

Not at all disappointed with my Pixel 2. Normally, I get bored with my phone's real quick. The Pixel has exceeded my expectations for sure.

I'm still loving my P2XL, I still think it's the best phone I've ever had.

I did have some issues with Android Auto disconnecting from my VW Passat, but once I switched to the USB-C cable sold by Google it's been completely cured, not a single recurrence.

I can say that even though I absolutely love my P2XL, I will absolutely buy the P3, I'll be pre-ordering just as soon as orders go live.

Still living the Pixel 2 XL. Camera is great. Battery life is great too. I have experienced some sluggishness in the OS, but haven't figured out if it was an app, (am a FB beta tester, so deleted that app). wouldn't trade this for any other phone in the market.

Loving my Pixel 2 XL

Ive had my Pixel 2 XL for about 4 months now. still loving it. Quick like it was still brand new and loving the quick updates. I had a OnePlus 5T for about a month but sold it because i like my Pixel that much

Totally happy...only thing that would make be switch is the 3XL. Fast, great camera, just perfect....
