Outdoor viewing / Texting

I am thinking about getting the 10.1 and was wondering how it does when viewing it outdoors. I have an S3 and it is almost impossible to view outside especially with my case on it. It is incredibly frustrating not being able to see almost anything on the screen on bright days.

Also is there any way to sync up texts between the note 10.1 and an S3 without using something like mightytext (I've found this app very annoying and unreliable)? Any help would be appreciated.

You must not work in a dungeon like the rest of us, lol. I never have a problem seeing mine in fluorescent lighting!
But yeah, it has a similar screen to the GS3, sunlight viewing is not so good. I hear with the right screen protector it's a little better, but I haven't tried any yet.

Dont know if the s3 does this but the s4 has ability to sync your texts into an exchange type email account. You could set up an outlook.com account and configure it as exchange. Sync options will then include sync sms.
