Outlook Calendar and Contacts?

In the past I was able to download the outlook app and it would sync my contacts and calendars but that no longer seems to be the case.

The new app is nice, don't get me wrong, it's very nice but I no longer see a way to have my contacts and calendars sync outside the newer apps for my phones contacts and Google calendar app.

Any advice or am I missing something?

Yeah, I'm in a similar boat. Looking at smoothsync now, but I'm not technologically advanced enough to know if that might solve your problem.

According to jeffrey with the outlook app, that app does not support pop accounts and imap does not support calendar. Furthermore the app does not sync contacts; it is just a list of most recent and frequent contacts.

Try companion link - they've got a 14 day trial and have outlook - Google and an outlook - android sync option via their cloud. It's been working for me for the last 3 hours. It is syncing calendar and contacts to google, which then show up in the stock apps. In the outlook settings I have it reading the Google account and my calendar is showing up there as well.
