Android Central Question

I sync between my PC (Outlook) and 2 Android devices. E-mails sync very well but calendars pose a problem. When a calendar items comes from an external source, it syncs on all devices but as soon as I schedule anything on Outlook it does not sync to the 2 devices. Help please.

If you're syncing to Gmail, then you're syncing to cloud. The problem is sync from Outlook to Google Calendar isn't instant. And needs a third party. Outlook on a PC can only retrieve data from Google Calendar, not send to it.

Is there a way that I can overcome this problem? From a work perspective it is becoming increasingly important to have all three devices in sync.
Depends. You either get an addon for Outlook like gsyncit (there are several options, most are paid) that allows you to sync Outlook to Google, or stop using Outlook. I've since started using the builtin apps for Calendar and Email on Windows 10 instead of Outlook since it syncs to Google natively.

Alternatively you can set your phone to use an Outlook.com calendar instead which Outlook on a PC syncs to natively. Basically make an Outlook. com account, and use that as your main calendar account on PC and both Android phones. Outlook.com syncs easy with Android. Using the Outlook app on Android will probably help as well.
