Outlook Calendar Won't Sync

I am having troubles getting my Outlook calendar to show on my S6.

Emails have synced perfectly well and the account is set up correctly in the same manner as my S4 and Tab 3, however my calendar isn't even available for selection on the page where you choose which items to Sync.

I have removed the Exchange account several times and set it up again to no avail. Does anyone else have this problem?

I had this same problem. Eventually the Outlook calendar did show in my list of calendars to select, and some events came through but not all - I missed a very important meeting because of this! I never figured out a solution, so I am just using the Outlook app from Microsoft for both email and calendar. The app works pretty well, and I really like the resizable agenda widget compared to what is available on the stock calendar app. (The Outlook app also syncs on its own, so I do not need to set the device email and calendar to sync with my Outlook account.)

I never even tried the Samsung Exchange integration because I started using Nine for Exchange on my Moto X and it is fantastic. Yes, it's pricey at $9.99, but it completely syncs my calendar and it's integrated into the stock calendar (not a separate calendar like the Outlook app), contacts, and tasks. You can even search your global exchange directory when doing a contact search. It's been nothing but great for me and I highly recommend it.

I have just downloaded the Outlook app which was very quick to setup however I can't see anywhere to control the Sync settings, peak/quiet times etc... I'd also like to limit the retrieval size and period. Is this possible?

The calendar is fairly well presented but I am still disappointed the stock calendar doesn't work.

I don't think there are settings for any of those things. The retrieval period is only 1 month, which is a hassle because I often want to look up older emails. To control the notifications, I make sure to only get notifications from my focused inbox, and I use the Lollipop Priority Notifications to make sure I don't get notifications at night.

I don't know if this will work for you or not -- but it's an Exchange Server alternative that's supposedly more reliable for syncing with Outlook PC. But don't think it lets you set sync times as it's automatic. It works with your Android's calendar and contacts apps.

Is everyone having this problem running the new outlook app that is being forced on us (version 1.2.23 (58) )? The older outlook.com app I didnt have any issues with, my shared calendars showed up and all appointments/alerts worked for me just fine. Now on this newer version, my outlook calendar doesnt talk to the stock calendar app at all. I have a few shared calendars that I use with my family, none of the alerts/reminders are working the way they were set up (already missed an important item this AM). It looks like im going to have to check daily in the outlook app's calendar for my outlook calendar items, as they are not alerting/reminding me. Is this the same issue everyone is seeing? I have reached out to the outlook app support team via HELP menu with this, and they say that my concern has been submitted.

Pretty sure I read recently they are discontinuing support and service to the old outlook app.

I am totally confused and frustrated but I've discovered that my Google Calendar syncs better with my desktop Outlook than does Outlook Mobile. I syncs quickly and accurately and works both ways. Also, my Google Calendar allows recurring appointments and I didn't find a way to do that with Outlook Mobile.

dd2fourteen - I am having the same issue. I downloaded the newest Outlook app on my Samsung Galaxy S4. I had waited awhile as all the reviews seemed really bad. I tried it out a few days and all seemed decent enough so I decided to keep it. My mistake was uninstalling the old Outlook.com app I had been using previously. At that point my outlook calendars and wife's shared calendars stopped loading into the Digical calendar app I am using. I tested the Android stock calendar app and my outlook calendars won't show up in there either. The only place I can view my outlook calendar is in the Outlook app, which has terrible calendar functionality. It has no recurrence settings when creating events, very limited reminder settings, and all my events now set off notifications and won't let me change the notification settings.

Did you ever get an answer from the support team or find an answer elsewhere?

Thanks!

Anyone found a solution for this besides downloading the outlook app...experiencing the same issue. Added exchange active sync..email syncs ok but exchange calendar not showing up and cannot add because it says 'email address already in use'.

***UPDATE
weird suddenly started working. (This is for the S6 Edge)..swipe down, select settings icon (gear); swipe to 'personal'; select 'accounts';select 'Microsoft Exchange Activ..' Ensure the 'on' is green for Sync Calendar'; select 'more' (top right); 'sync now'.

Swear that's all I did , (which I thought I'd done before) and the active sync account showed up under calendars and appointments started populating. Hope this helps someone.

Not sure if this is what you're referring to, but let me say that OUTLOOK CALENDAR SYNC between your PC/DESKTOP & Google Calendar (and thus PHONE Calendar) was disabled about 5 months ago. Is THIS what you're talking about? If so, there is an OUTLOOK 3rd party application that you can purchase that re-enables that syncing feature. Let me know if we're on the same page & I can share the name of the application. If not your issue, then sorry.

THANKS SO MUCH!!! THIS TOTALLY WORKED FOR MY NOTE 5!!! Perhaps this was a bug. If you don't mind, I'd like to credit you for this in my Note 5 thread that I started about this issue. Thanks again!!!

Can someone please post a link to the Outlook 3rd party application. I have tried Calendar Sync Pro but I'm afraid it produces multiple duplicate entries for all recurring items.
