Corporate calendar and contacts (Exchange) sync fine with the Droid while also having another email account, gmail, etc. There is a selector when setting up the other accounts to choose sync with calendar/contacts that can be toggled off.

Should have clarified...I was on BIS using my Storm and why I needed to synch my calendar/contacts using Blackberry Desktop manager which is a manual process. I know I can prevent the synch to Google by turning the sync option off, but the issue is synching my Outlook contacts/calendar to the phone directly and not through Google as I don't have a corporate Exchange account that uses Activesync.

I'm actually hoping Google comes out with a Calendar Sync for Windows 7 64 Bit so I could keep everything backed up in 2 places.

I see. Yep, you'll probably need a sync applet running as stated above. I'm coming from BES. So far, only miss not being able to sync with Public Folders (Exchange Server). Seems to be the last piece needed for both iPhone and Droid for the enterprise.

It's coming, and yes it'll cost you.

Mark/Space is working on Missing Sync for Android.

A beta is available now, though it doesn't work with Android 2.0 yet.

The final version is due out later this month and will cost about $40. I'm hoping by then it'll have 2.0 support. The first version will sync Contacts, but not Calendar, which should be done (at least according to their website) by the end of the year.

Here's the link:

I'm coming from a BB Storm where I would use DM to manually synch my corporate calendar/contact so to my Storm. Any way to do this on the Droid? Seems to be a way with the Eris :

http://forum.androidcentral.com/htc...rial-syncing-eris-outlook-without-google.html

This is a deal breaker for me, so hoping someone has some ideas even if its a 3rd party app.

Thanks in advance.

I know that you don't want to go through Google, but they do have a 2 way sync with outlook. The nice thing about it vs the BB is that it syncs automatically when there is a change vs having to attach the BB to your computer and inializing the sync there no missed changes. I hope this helps. BTW I had 6 Storm 1's and 3 Tours and the Droid blows them away!

Outlook to Droid sync without Google

This post is late in the game, but you can visit www dot syncdroid dot net to find a chart of most software available to sync Outlook with your Droid, what it syncs (calendar, contacts, notes, tasks, email), whether it uses USB or wireless or Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, whether it uses Google's services or not, the price (many free) and more. It also has an overview of each software title.

Why not use TouchDown

Have you looked at TouchDown? It works with ActiveSync (you said your company did not have it...neither does mine) or you can use your OWA (web mail) connector to your email. While it is not push mail like BES, you can set it to check as often as you like (I have mine set to 15 minutes).
