Just updated:

My photo frame widget is messed up now. If I do any of the 3 way split layouts, the largest picture's edges aren't fitted to the edges of the frame. Makes it look all zoomed in (like seeing a big mouth instead of a full face).

Things also feel a bit laggy right now in Nova Launcher.

Looks like they fixed the scrolling in the TouchWiz Photo Gallery.

My LED notifications are the right color for GO SMS Pro now.

I'm on ATT and I never get an update... I'll have to call and see about my phone, it always says it can't update when I try manually

I did the 'Check for Updates' and my phone downloaded the update but it says it got interrupted during install and it won't let me recheck for an update for another 24 hours. Is there any way to manually install the downloaded update?

Yes. In the date and time settings, uncheck the box that says "Automatic date and time" then manually set the clock 24+ hours ahead (e.g. tomorrow). Now recheck for an update and install. Once the update is complete, just go back into settings and correct the date and time, or recheck the "Automatic date and time" box.

Some of these things is part of 4.1 get little basic parts out before the main update.. The new camera settings and the dialer and brightness in the notification is part of 4.1

I have no problem with Nova Launcher after the update.

Just doesn't feel as snappy to me. Not by much though.

Has anyone noticed whether the update to the stock email client added HTML format viewing? Just curious since I actually liked it but disabled it due to not being able to see HTML content in many of my emails. Am still waiting for my IMEI number to come up. When I tap the Software update setting it says I have to wait a bit before it can check again.

This looks to be similar to T-mobile's recent update. It also took away the universal search feature. There is a thread with what was updated. This update should also available through Samsung Kies.

I've just noticed that swiping between pictures in the Gallery app is incredibly laggy.

Edit:
Only in my album with 4k pictures. This was not the case before the update.

The "Gallery ICS" app doesn't have this issue. I don't know what Samsung felt it needed to change to mess it up.

I am in Indiana and on AT&T and got the update today. I just happened to manually check for updates and it was available. Here is what I have noticed:

1. Brightness slider in notifications.
2. Background behind buttons is no longer transparent. Pretty sure it used to be.
3. Camera settings are different.
4. The background in emails is opposite. It used to be black/white text and is now light grey/black text. Don't know how to change.
5. The attachment button is on the left of the text box when typing.
6. The entire keyboard is different. There are small punctuations above each letter all the time and the settings button has been replaced with a listen button. Also, spell check auto correct has stopped working completely. I checked and the settings are correct.
7. The browser now has forward and back buttons.
8. There is a new VPN Client app.
9. Didn't notice a difference in the dialer but I'm sure that's part of the update.
10. Supposedly, pictures sent via text don't show up as videos anymore but I'm not convinced.

Did I miss anything?

Does anyone have any ideas on how to change the color scheme of emails and/or how to get auto spell check working again?

The update for my Galaxy S3 went smoothly and I recieved the updates previoulsy mentioned. However, the update did fix the problem I was having with SVoice immediately closing on launch via my bluetooth earpiece. It now works perfectly.

On the weather widget there was a sun and inside that sun was a number 1. That is gone and replaced with a white sun and a clock inside.

Just go into settings and manually change the date to one day forward and try again.

Nothing here yet in the Bay area.. Is everyone happy with the update? Just curious since Sammy really bungled the ICS update for the Skyrocket and my phone works fine right now. You know the old saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it", LOL. Am far more eager to see when we get the JB update though.
