Overclock issue?

I know I asked this many times, and I said alot about it, but, Idk if there's something wrong.....

On IHO, I can't overclock past 600 without a random reboot. On Harmonia 1.8, the phone was overclocked to 748 by default, Interactive, and no problems WhatSoEver..... If I do that on IHO, the phone cuts off and back on.

Any ideas on what's different?

I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing the kernel. I actually had the opposite problem: I've been able to overclock to 864 on backside withlut reboot, but I went there just for fun on bumblebee, it rebooted. I have no theories as to why, and googling kernels and info about them is messy and can take up hours just reading.

Idk but mine is 480 min 825 max interactive x runs real smooth and fast, no reboots or freezes etc. Updated with the ZV9 baseband, Backside Iho/ Iho Mirage

Apps being run, kernels, even the rom itself can effect max overclock because they all have various levels of tolerances for errors.

So Froyo has less of a tolerance?

Remember our phones were built with froyo in mind, so any phone already not as powerful (the vs that can't overclock) might notice trouble... haha its complete speculation here from me...

It mostly happens when I'm txting.

I've seen people reporting the same thing. So what's with that?

I get the exact opposite. I can overclock to 787 on IHO, but I just installed Harmonia 1.8 and I get a ton of random reboots. The most common reboots I got were using swype (can't we just remove that from the roms?) and trying to type. Weird man WEIRD!

I thought the overclock of Picasticks was 806 MHz. No?
