Overclock Optimus V: Post Benchmarks, Mhz, ROM & Kernal

All these over clocks... Do you just mess with the max speed or do you increase the min speed as well?

You can set both minimum & your maximum Mhz. For instance set your minimum down for when your screen times out & you are not using your phone. Doing that will conserve your battery. Set your maximum at the highest stable Mhz you can achieve w/o your phone self rebooting/freezing.

How are y'all getting 1200-1300+? And how do I get data2ext? Does it actually help performance?

Right now, I'm testing picasticks-07a on MobiusROM R1 "Green Hill", overclocking it to 806MHz max/480 MHz min while using the interactive governor.

Quadrant score: 1329

SetCPU Native bench: 2262.719971ms
Linpack MFLOPS: 9.739

Overclocked to to 825MHz while on the charger using the performance governor.

Quadrant score: 1355

They're either enabling stagefright or mounting quadrant system files. I benchmark on quadrant usually 1000-1100. Then I mounted files and enabled stagefright and scored 1900. Stagefright is a glitch and mounting system files is a trick. Neither improve anything.

Someone top my system:

My phone can't make calls and constantly freezes, but at least I have a high quadrant score :D

mounting quadrant system files

whats your linpack, cant cheat those

But linpak doesn't have a cute graph I can photoshop....

I'm actually more interested in battery life and efficiency than peak performance. I'm not doing much 3D gaming on this.

ROM: aospCMOD 2.3.4 5-26-2011
Overclock: 787 Mhz on Interactive (On 806Mhz it barely goes up)

Quadrant Score: 1064

Linpack:
MFLOPS: 8.741
Time: 9.59 Seconds
Norm Res: 5.68

864 Mhz interactive
Quadrant:1226
Aosp 5/31.

I got that a few minutes after I restarted my phone. It goes down after the phone heats up to around 1159.

Got a consistent Quadrant score of 1109-20 OC'd at 806.

At 806 for Quadrant, 829 for Linpack...really whatever it could run at. I have a 32Gb Kingston class 4 SD card, so overall results are influenced by that.
