Overclocking Gingershedbread

What's the best way to overclock when running Gingershedbread. Is there a recommended kernel?

should be right there in settings>cyanogen mod settings>performance
i don't have my phone handy right now, but seems to me like there's a choice of using smartass or ondemand and 710 seems to work really nice for most folks.
