Could you tell me where and how you got your phone to clock so high im using the getitnowmarketing laptop #6 kernel number 2.6.32.9 beta and mine only gets up to 860+ and on the quadrent score it gets 671 I want to go faster lol could ya tell me your setting or secrets of whats under the hood haha

No. lol jk,
I'm running thundeROM, OC'ed to 806 (my phone can't handle any higher), and I have few tweaks for build.prop (stagefright hack, and I enabled hardware acceleration. It's blazing fast and it's stable.

Stagefright Hack,
I changed:
media.stagefright.enable-player=false
media.stagefright.enable-meta=false
media.stagefright.enable-scan=false
media.stagefright.enable-http=false
To
media.stagefright.enable-player=true
media.stagefright.enable-meta=true
media.stagefright.enable-scan=true
media.stagefright.enable-http=true

Hardware Acceleration,
I changed:
debug.sf.hw=0
To
debug.sf.hw=1

totally didn't think about hw accel. feh.

No increase on linpack so I'm guessing the only real boost here is the hw acceleration of h264 and aac decoding.

You might have us Optimus users confused with users of a phone that contains a 1GHz processor. The Optimus series (one, T, S) has 600MHz ARM11 processor.

Huhmmm what lol is that thing fly out your hand lol if that fast how long would the phone last before shuting off? im trying to figure out if I go into the app manager in the settings and stop the apps manualy and then try quadrent would that get higher scores? or how and where could I tap into the stagefright hack? mine wont bench at 864 it either reboots or quadrant just vanishes with no error. 844 used to work but i noticed its a tad unstable. trying to add a cusotm 833 to see how thats gonna work out.

Curious how you are getting that though especially at only 787!

No Apps on SD? No market background apps? My system has a bunch of apps so maybe thats why.

Edit: 833 worked, but was unstable for me like 844.

Thanks on the tips and I just tryed the quadrent on 700+ or 800+ and It just gets unstable and reboots but im about to try and see if putting apps on the sd that wont harm the function on the phone help alittle
