So a quick background on why I'm asking this...Android Market is having their 10 cent sale. I bought the heart rate monitor, which surprisingly works by using your phone's (My EVO 3D) camera and flash.
My phone was plugged in, and I have the option enabled so that when my phone was plugged in, the screen will never time out and lock itself. That being said, I accidentally left the app running, therefore my camera and led flash were both on for upwards of an hour or so.
When I came back, I picked up my phone and it was quite hot, setCPU told me about 120F, and my battery status was "Overheating".
So my question is, apparently using the camera / flash over long periods of time really heats up your phone, but what should be considered the maximum safe temperature for an HTC EVO 3D?
Overclockers are welcome to answer this
PS: I have an Otterbox defender case on it.
