Overwhelmed by the S-Pen!

My favorite feature since the first S pen is the ability to jot a phone number and then call that number. My quick scroll of the user's manual didn't mention it but I may have missed it. You can do the same for websites and email addresses.

Can you tell us how to do this please? I've been searching for details all day, but coming up empty. Thanks in advance!

Create a new note and jot down a phone number. Click on the back arrow in the upper left hand corner. Hover over your phone number and you'll see a phone icon to the right of it. Click on the icon and your phone app will open with the phone number input. Do the same for email and web addresses.

So just for instance, lock your phone, then take the pen out and write a phone number, then hit save, then open your phone, go into Samsung Notes and your saved note will be there, hover your S Pen over it and to the right of the number there is a phone icon, hit that and it puts that number into your phone dialler to ring out, it sound long winded but it's actually pretty neat, it also works for websites and emails, not sure what else works.

Edit, Ah I was too slow lol
With the old Air Actions, we used to be able to put in a post/Zip code and when you hovered over it there would be the map to click on, that was neat.

You actually don't have to lock the phone first if you have your spen settings configured to create a new note when the spen is removed. If you just hit that back arrow after writing your phone number, it saves the note and you can immediately hover over the number to get the phone icon. In the N10 I think the note had to be saved first and reopened but not now. In fact this function is now more seamless than it's been since the Note 5, I think.

I was just trying to keep it simple but yeah that's correct, chances are though you will be writing in a hurry so the screen off memo will be a more likely option :)

Thanks, I finally found time to try this out. I think I'll be using this a lot in the future.
