Oxygen updater....Can't reboot into recovery.

Hey, All...

I think I'm having a brain fart here. I'm using the OP7p 12/256GB that I bought directly from OP.

Using the oxygen updater, I downloaded the latest incremental update. However, when I reboot into recovery mode, all I get is the format and wipe cache options - nothing about installing from zip.

I have successfully used this process on my oneplus6t, but that was rooted, and I didn't think you needed to have root for this update or. At least not for the manual update part.

Disregard.... I just went to system>system updates>gear icon>install locally.

Download the update in the app as I'm sure you did. Then I just went into the system menu and update and hit the gear in the top right and hit local upgrade and select the downloaded file. It seemed to work for me no root or recovery nonsense.
