P10 plus bend problem

Hello there. I have a question. In juli I bought myself a P10 plus telephone. After a few days use ( I never place my phone in the backpocket) I noticed that the telephone was a bit bend and when placed on a table - I could actually tilt it when touchin it in the corners. I talked with my Mobile service provider (those who sold my the phone) and it was sent to their workshop. My mobile service provider paid the bill and the backcover was replaced. When I recieved the phone from the workshop - it is still bit skewed ( Ive uploaded some photo and films here goo.gl/nqUCGc) . Anyone experienced similar problems?

Interesting. I frequent this forum and this is the first that i have read about this but i did a quick Google search and found a few people complaining about this on another site. My suggestion would be to get them to fix tue problem completely or have them replace the phone

Thanks for the link - I've been searching the net for other people with same issues and no luck. Although it's a P10 not the P10 plus I guess they share similarities in the design :-) I've already written them an email complaining about the issue - but they are closed during the weekend, so I expect an answer from them on monday or thuesday. I'll keep this thread updated here (and on the XDA P10 plus forum were I also have done a smilair post)

Sorry, that's the only thread that i was able to find. Hopefully they will be able to either fix or replace it like the person from XDA.

Update : I'll get my unit replaced with a new one. Since no one replied with the same problem - I'll conclude that it can be narrowed to one faulty P10 plus device. Again dpham00 thanks for the replies :-)

That's awesome that you were able to get it replaced. Glad to see Huawei step up to the plate here.
 
Beside the bending problem I was really happy with the phone. Great cameras, Love the UI (very clean and responsive), the one button navigation is very clever, good call quality and it felt like it was well build. Anyways I look forward to receive the new device:-) Cheers

When you say a new one, are you referring to an actual new one, or a refurbished one?
 
Actually it was the webshop were I bought the phone who replaced the bended phone with a complete new one :-)
 
First I want to stress that I'm not a brand-fanboy or trying to make a smear campaign against Huawei... I know a lot of people thats quite happy with their Huawei phones..

When that is said, It actually saddens me - but the P10 plus still bends and thats just after 24 hours :-/ The 9-Aug I received the phone and this time I didn't carry it around in my front pocket (I had in the pocket of my jacket and the desk on my work). 24 hours later it has bend a little and when pressing in the right corner it tilts a little ( https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/0B7bL9wrgJXjXZlNKUG9FWjVUYW8 ). I've got a full refund and I'm looking for a new phone ( I guess it will be the same brand as I used before). Well that's the end of my P10 plus ride.
 
Oh wow that sucks. Glad that the retailer was accommodating though. What phone are you looking at now?
 
Same problem here! I bought this phone for my son 26th November, he noticed a few days ago it was not only bent but where the bend is has put pressure on the side casing and a crack above the smaller button. Place I bought it from ut me through to manufacturer, who asked me to send it back for inspection and kind of told me it had been misused, which I strongly denied. So it has to be sent back for an inspection but if they say it has been misused I will have to pay £14 just for the inspection!
I really think this is an overheating problem which has bent the phone...will find out in about a week !
