Yes, they work fine together. You'll loose some functionalities like ECG and blood pressure measurements. I had Watch 4 and P6 combo.

Did you have the LTE version and, if so, did it work with a single phone number? I had a Galaxy 3 with my Pixel 3 and I had to have a separate phone line for the watch.

P6P and galaxy watch 4 do work together over BT. Had to install Galaxy wear app, samsung health app, and Wear OS app. I don't use Wear OS app but had to d/l it for GPS to update properly on watch.

Gpay works but no Google assistant yet on it. Coming at some point supposedly.
