I would leave it installed so you can re-enable them if you have to, for example to install a new software update when it comes.

When it first came out, it came with the regular free version and the Pro one, I used the Free version to try it out and disabled some apps that couldn't do it with the Applications Manager, they were disabled, I checked that, then, I decided to uninstall the free version and I simply forgot to re-enable those apps I've disabled with it, as soon as I uninstalled Package Disabler all those apps were enabled and showing on the Applications manager.

So to answer your question, yes, I think you need to keep it installed for the apps and services to keep being disabled.

In application manager I have already uninstalled or disabled several apps. Will this conflict with Package Disabler? I'm ready to try PD but just want to make sure everything goes smooth.
Thanks to all for the help thus far

I bought Package Disabler Pro. Now the BIG question is, What can I disable safely in the list of apps that PD is showing me? Also the apps that I have disabled in the Note 5 application manager are showing in Package Disabler app as NOT disabled or no checkmark in the box....

Correct it won't show up as disabled if you disabled it in the application manager.

There is an xml on XDA-Developers (link is in the battery thread) and I also posted a list in the battery thread as well

I looked at our "battery thread" here but wow...64 pages and I even searched your user name to try and zero in but I didn't see a list of bloatware items. I then went to xda and saved the xml file but that guy has a T-Mobile Note 5 and there are quite a few differences between his phone and my AT&T Note 5 so I am afraid to start disabling things that he disabled....

No issues using it on at&t or any other version that I'm aware of. Others have done it. If there is an app listed to disable that isn't on your phone it just ignores it.

Hi guys,
So I disabled a ton of stuff in Package Disabler App, I then went back into the Note 5 Application Manager>Disabled and the long list I had there now only shows one disabled app which is "Favorite Contacts 0.00B". What happened to the list of disabled apps in Application Manager? They do show as disabled in Package Disabler though. Overall I don't see much difference in storage or memory use but the phone does seem somewhat quicker I guess, maybe i'm imagining things.

Also noticed I'm missing one app on my home page that was deleted and I haven't any idea what it was LOL

Another question relating to this. I already disabled many things in App. Mgr before the Package Disabler was installed. Should I go ahead and check the boxes in the bloat for those I already disabled?

This is what I have apparently disabled in Package Disabler on my AT&T Note 5. I used scroll capture, hope this picture is viewable.
Thanks

I see :(
I think AC compressed it when uploading here. I can read it clearly on Google Photos on my Note 5 and Mac. Not sure how to repost it here so it is legible.

You'll have to display Individual screenshots. Sucks, but hopefully AC can stop compressing THESE type of images, one of these days.

I have AT&T, and used the Basic.xml list and it worked with disabling all the AT&T crap.
