Package File is Invalid-Google Play store

I received my Nexus 4 16gb last Thursday and really enjoying my first ever smartphone.

I am experiencing problems downloading apps from the Google Play store. Receive package file is invalid most times I attempt to download an app.

go to settings-->apps-->All apps[swipe to extreme right]-->google Play store-->wipe data and wipe cache.

reboot Nexus 4. open play store again.

Thanks for your help. Followed your instructions and now have no problems with downloading from the Play store.

Play store had some intermittent problems lately, but weeping cache never hurts.
