As of today it is indeed possible. Download Adroid Wear for IOS from the IOS App Store. If already paired with another Android phone, do a factory reset on the watch. Open the Android Wear app on your iPhone and follow the pairing instructions. It works flawlessly. You will receive calls, texts, emails and every other notification that your iPhone receives. My watch now pairs with my iPhone 6. I no longer have to carry my old Moto G with me along with my iPhone.

This is good news, I'm just wondering if there is an easy way to switch the watch between an Android phone and an iPhone without having to reset the watch each time? I carry both, one is work and one is personal. I'd like to switch as needed. I know I can't run both at the same time (which would be ideal but.....).

It's still usless. It looses so much functionality on IOS. It's just a hub for notifications

I agree Android Wear on iOS is less useful. I have situations where being able to use my LG G R with my iPhone for notifications would be useful.

Hello,
I have the LG g r watch updated to 1.3
and an Iphone 6 plus ios 9.1 with the android wear app.
i couldn't pair those two no matter what I tried!
are you sure it is possible?
in the android app the watch is not showing up.
and when I pair the watch and the phone in the Bluetooth menu, it pairs and then say the device is not supported and leave me an option to
forget this device.
I don't want to jailbreak my phone, so please tell me if it works for you?
it is very annoying, the watch runs the same hardware as the official moto 360 gen2 and the urban watch there's no reason it won't be able to pair to ios.

Did you reset your watch before pairing it with your iPhone? You need to do a reset from the watch settings menu. You will also have to rest the watch when you go back to an android device. It is a pain but it works.

I hooked up my LG G Watch R successfully last Friday. Admittedly I have iOS 10 and I made sure i had the latest O/S version on my watch.
It took me a few days to figure it out and the Internet wasn't helping, more confusing. Eventually I discovered, whereas I had been presuming I could repair to iOS at the normal menu item in settings (Blue tooth pairing) I discovered another option towards the end of the Settings Menu "UNPAIR PHONE"..it warns you that it will be doing a fairly significant reset but, I knew I could always go back if it didn't work. So, I did.
The reset took 5-10 minutes of flashing Icons but, at the end, the process was obvious and successful.
Now I want to go away from the basic faces and go back to Challenger. Again , the Internet guides and You Tube videos are confusing so I am not there yet but, at least i have time sinked watch that has limited functions.

Bought myself the huawei watch and gave my lg g watch r to my brother in law who has an iPhone and it would not connect to the watch... he tried on his wife's samsung and connected with no problems. I'd like to help him out connecting it so if anyone knows how I am open to suggestions.
