Hello all!
well, here it is, my first post in the forum announcing to the world that I have moved from my old trusty (and slightly dusty) palm centro to the Android platform. Now running an Optimus S on the Sprint network. Pretty honked off that I could no longer get a new smart phone that did not requrie over the air connectivity for the various applications (I had previously had the Centro without a data package and never used over the air data to get my applications, etc...).
Still, on the whole, I am working on becoming a bit more knowledgable of the android platform.
Hoping that things continue well for this one. can't say that I have had much luck since both of my favorite systems (the ancient Amiga platform and the Palm OS platforms) have dissappeared from the earth.
