Panda - Yes or No?

I logged in to pre-order the second he said it was up on the announcement. the configured a black/white and it sold out before I could get it in the cart! Got black... which is fine... I just really liked the dual tone.

No to 'Panda'. It gives me flashbacks to the preposterous superhero 'Oreo' statue unveiling. Regardless, I don't run my phones bareback, so phone color doesn't matter much when it's covered by a case.

I like the back - but the all black fronts on the phones is not appealing to me - they all look dead - I give Google a D+ for their color selection this time around.

I ordered the black and white without hesitation! I sort of like things that aren't the norm. besides... now I can change my "hey Lydia" ( ok Google) to "hey Panda"

I wanted the Panda XL , but it was out of stock on the Google Store when I tried, so I switched it to Black. Google Store newbie here, who waited too long to try. Silly me thinking IMMEDIATELY AFTER THEY ANNOUNCED IT was too late ( I should have ordered DURING the announcement apparently). Well, if I do it again, next time I will realize. That Google store will be the death of me I tell ya!

Definitely going with the panda/stormtrooper colour.

The orange button imo is the best part about it. Gives it just a little, tasteful touch of flair.

But, I have a silver Pixel XL with a white face; had I been paying more attention when I ordered I probably would have made another choice. I *really* dislike the white face and can't wait to be rid of it.

Yup ,, I went with the Panda Pixel XL over the all black model. I like the orange power button.
I will be using a clear tpu type case on it

I ordered the "Just Black" Pixel 2 XL.

I have a Silver XL, I like the white face. I ordered a Pixel Just Black, then cancelled it. On the 19th I'm going to take a walk to the local VZW store, see the phones in person and make my final decision. I'm interested in the Kinda Blue Pixel, may get one of those and go next door to Staples and get a bottle of white out to solve the black face problem.

In the meantime, looks like I don't have to worry about you stealing my XL -

Ordered one of each. Rejecting Panda after just a little while. I always had black but love the Really Blue Pixel I have. And it taught me to appreciate the white of the front bezel--less depressing than a full black face. When I saw that the panda still has a black face, I figured well, I don't like white on the back anyway.

As for the case, I have a clear one on my blue. And I'm going to put a blue one on my black.........

Sure wish they'd kept the blue.......

I'm the complete opposite of that. Am SO happy they finally made a colored phone - that interests me - with a black face. I despise the white faces. Completely ruins video for me. The Panda is scheduled to land in NJ the last week of October.

I ordered the black but if the black was on the back and white on front like I had with my old BlackBerry Z10 I would have been all over that. That was the stormtrooper for me
