Pandora - Auto-launch

Is anyone experiencing any Auto-launch issues with Pandora since the Android 9 - Pie update?

I cant use the Pandora application in my Clarion (Subaru Facotry) head unit since the Android 9 update. I can use Pandora relatively normal through Bluetooth, but even that came with its problems. I had to de-optimize the application in the battery settings to keep from
Pandora closing whenever BT dropped (getting out of the car).

But I have not found a resolution to using the Clarion Pandora app with my phone so I can use thumb and list features.

I have experienced the same issue with my 2018 Honda CRV factory head unit. Since I see it's on several different head units I'm guessing it's not the head unit but something in Pie or Pandora

Pandora 1808.1 will not auto launch. You can back up to 1807.2 if you have a copy saved on a backup somewhere.

Just got my P2 XL last week so only been using Pie. But mine is auto launching with the head unit in my 2017 F150.

I have this problem with my Pixel and 2014 Mazda 6. Worked fine until the Pie update.
