Pathetic charging system

I have had this watch for one year and have already gone through two charging packs. Two nights ago, however, the bottom on the watch where the pack attaches broke so now the clip will not even attach itself.

I am sure I will be told this is "physical damage" and will be forced to use Velcro from here on out to charge my watch.

What garbage. This is a $300 device with the worst charging design EVER. We purchased a Gear S2 for my mother and the charging system is so different, easy and not moronic.

Samsung obviously knew it screwed up with the Gear S battery pack and it created the easy drop-on charger for the S2. Those of us with the Gear S are now stuck with Velcro and rubber bands in order to charge and actually continue to use our watches.

We were early adopters. Samsung being Samsung anyone that expected a finished gem instead of a diamond in the extreme rough of course has been disappointed-livid.
Their support of its os was pathetic, just like Samsung is known for. Their app store has been pathetic not only in content but layout to find the little content that is available. Want a different band from Samsung? Seriously? The built in extra battery in the oem charger is a cool idea but Samsung being Samsung they dropped the ball on design and implementation of the cool idea. The Note5 stylus pen can be inserted the wrong way without knowing it's wrong until it's too late, again typical Samsung taking a great idea and botching the finished product.
It's just Samsung being Samsung.

No way would I laugh :)

Looking for a good way to keep the battery on without using elastic bands. Thank you for the tip!!

I have moved on the S2 but I know folks that used pill bottles as well. Basically anything you can clip the watch around... I preferred to remove the watch from the band since I changed them all the time and just use a rubber band myself when I had the S.
