PC not displaying contents of phone.

[AC Question]

When I connected my Nexus 6 phone to the PC, with a USB cable, I used to be able to see the contents of the phone displayed. Lately, all I see is "Nexus 6". I've unplugged and replugged a bunch of times.

Hi, are you running Windows 10 not that I have advice, but I've heard a lot of issues with Marshmallow 6.0 and Windows 10 not syncing well together.

Yes, Windows 10, and just upgraded the phone to Marshmallow.
Hmm, I didn't know that was an issue, will google for more info.

Welcome to Android Central! Might be a silly question but are you making sure to unlock your device after its plugged into your computer.

Yeah, I "unlocked" it even before plugging in. By "unlock", are you referring to the fingerswipe pattern? That's how I set my phone up.

Yes by unlocking the screen lock to view the "desktop"
