PDA Net question

I just hooked it up and works pretty well. I just do not want to be charged phone rates. Hopefully this is all regular data. Can someone please confirm?

your good, pdanet is free... you wont be charged. you can also root and use free wifi tethering

I am not sure about rooting. I never did that before but heard of it. Sounds scarry.

its actually pretty easy to do and opens up a whole new world of customizing. but if your happy with the stock layout, probably no need to root. there is a huge community of developers that are constantly creating new roms that can speed up processing, increase battery life, and fresh new themes.

although you can still customize phone heavily without rooting as well. use launcher pro, desktop visulaizer, and better cuts to dig into customizing your stock theme...
