Yeah that is true but it was almost same with one plus could buy unlocked use on the others also, all I'm saying glad it more available the pixel and soon will be one plus

Yeah but they didn’t play well with Verizon. I believe my Oneplus 6 was missing the needed bands for Verizon and there were workarounds. I guess I meant they seem to play well with everybody but Verizon. I thought I’ve seen 7T issues with Verizon on the different threads.

Yeah I remember those threads as I have my 1+6 still that was my first One Plus device .

Yeah, you're right. If I had bought the OnePlus 6T even though it would have worked on Verizon's network, I know that I would have had issues with the LTE service I'm sure. Even though it's impossible, one plus is missing certain US spec LTE bands that are near for Verizon and I'm sure other major carriers in the country. That's the frustrating partt. Just not in the United States. On Verizon which is what a lot of people have.

That's Verizon's choice. OnePlus 6 and 7 should both work on Verizon - if they accept them.

I doubt if WiFi calling would work.

WiFi calling usually doesn't work if the phone isn't carrier-branded - on any carrier. That, again, is a "carrier doesn't accept it" problem.

yeah, that's very true. It is a Verizon's network security choice to not make OnePlus phones fully compatible with their LTE network bands. I called a Verizon representative and asked them if the OnePlus 6T will actually work with LTE service. They couldn't fully confirm that it would. They said it should but they weren't very confident basically. Basically , I know exactly what you're talking about. I mean, from a carrier perspective, that's also extremely frustrating as well.

I never buy carrier branded phones, and US unlocked recent Galaxy phones and unlocked Pixel phones all have Verizon WiFi calling and other carrier related features on them and work perfectly fine. Same with T-Mobile it works fine.

I'm wanting to buy a new pixel just to see for myself what all the fuss is about .
I bet it would get 5 hrs talk and 5 hrs screen on time just like the last few phones I've had has gotten .
