People Edge

I was messing around and comparing me s6 edge to my friends and one thing I noticed was that when his screen is locked you cannot access the people edge button on the top right or left of the screen. When mine is locked out am able to select it.

Both of us are using a fingerprint as our security feature and I've tried looking in the setting for it but unable to find out how to fix it for him.

Any ideas on where to look?

Perhaps his notification under edge settings is turned off?!?!

Found out what the issue was. He has his notifications hidden which is why you can't access people edge when the phone is locked.
