What is your experience with getting files on and off the phone is it easy or is it a headache.

I avoid using the HTC Sync Manager and simply drag & drop files from my PC/Laptop straight on to my phone. It's very straight forward and fast.

This. I just use it the same way I would any other USB Storage Device for dragging and dropping files in Windows.
