Everytime the restore gets to data it gets hung up on a file named "busy box" or "drop box" (i forget I've been looking at this phone and code for way too long)

Anyway is there a way to put the SD card on the computer and take that file out and see if the restore continues? All i need is my contacts and everything but my data is synching arghhh

make sure unknown sources is checked
settings>applications>unknown sources

then open titanium backup then at the bottom it says "Problems" click on that , then choose to update busy box
then try again

I've never done a titanium backup but I do have it on my phone, do the two coincide with each other?

Titanium Backup is an app from the market. It is not part of Clockwork or the phone. If you back up your applications it will allow you to restore outside of doing a back up/restore of the entire ROM.
