Permanent Desktop mode on stock JB Browser?

Hey people.

I have the International SGS3 and I wanted to know if there is some way to either mod the stock browser etc so that it forces desktop mode all the time?. I am not interested in running other browsers, but at the same time hates watching mobile sites that limits my capabilities when my phone clearly can do more then the siteowners think

So is it possible or not ?

Unlike common assumption the stock JB browser is in fact NOT Chrome, since the chrome fix for permanent desktop mode doesn't seem to do anything for the stock browser at all :/

So please can anyone offer any help or pointers to this?

ive never used the stock browser mate so i dont know but you really should try some of the alternatives. most let you import your stock browser bookmarks

I tried some of the alternatives and I didn't like them at all . And I know that I could use ICS Browser+ to get permanent desktop mode when I was running ICS on both my SGS2 and SGS3. So it is possible, just the how that keeps eluding me.

I would like exactly the opposite, opening every Page in mobile mode. I am in a low coverage zone at the moment and it would be helpful. In my old nokia n78 Google let me choose that in their preferences but that feature seems to be missing now.
Any thoughts?
