Permanent front page link to Latest Android News page

While I like the idea of a "Latest Android News" ticker page, it would be nice to have a permanent front page link to that page so that people could easily find it (it did fall off the front page rather quickly).

An ideal place for it would be the main site header or maybe a scrolling ticker on the sidebar where the poll sits.

The app is in the same boat. I can't find the right thread at all using the app. I just did a search for Android news. It revealed a headline that had august 11 (today is the 12th). When I tapped on it, it took me to the one for the 9th. When I tap on the refresh this page link, it still only shows news from the 9th.

Separating the live news and thought-out articles is definitely a good idea and I think it could work. The execution needs to be polished up a lot.
