Status bar indicates that a Gmail attachment I tried to download last night is still coming with no progress...I have rebooted the phone several times and every time I reboot the downloading icon pops up in the status bar, and when I drop it down it shows that it is "fetching" the attachment with no progress...

How do I cancel this operation???

-Thanks,

David

Manage apps > Gmail > clear data.

You'll have to setup your notification settings afterwards.

Thanks for the input, however there was no luck with clearing the cache from Gmail. Still shows the download icon in the status bar and that is "fetching the attachment" when I pull it down???

The culprit!!! Totally annoying that this is still running and very troublesome that it is perpetual through reboots!

Try clearing data from downloads in app manager. Did you reboot after clearing data in Gmail? Just curious. I had this happen a while back, but don't remember which data I cleared to fix it. It was one of those, I think lol
