Personal Notifications

I have searched with no answers...maybe I'm just frustrated.

I can't figure out how to move my ringtone/notification tones from my sd card for my Incredible to recognize. My goal is a notification for my sms/mms and email.

I'll even take a link to a thread I have missed...Help forum land!!

If you are asking where to put them, place them in /media/audio/notifications/ on your SD card.

Create the folders in the above path if necessary.

Tried that, didnt work. Should i plug it into my computer? Ive been using ES file explorer

They need to be MP3's. If they are, and they are still not showing up, reboot phone and check again. Sometimes you have to do that to get them to show up in the list.

you don't NEED a computer, but for me it's much easier to do things like that with one
