Is anyone else getting this card that can't be dismissed? If I tap "sign in" nothing happens. Tap anywhere on the card...nothing happens. I AM signed into my Google account as I can go in to Discover settings and see my interests and adjust them.

Swipe that notification halfway to the left or right, then tap the Information icon. Which app is responsible, the Google app?

This is in the Google feed/Discovery, swiping right from the home screen using the stock launcher. The card cannot be swiped away (halfway or otherwise) nor does it respond to a tap on it or where it says "sign in". Nothing happens. Not a really big deal, just a bit annoying that it won't go away and it's misleading because I am signed into my Google account.
Thanks.

Whoops, sorry! I should've noticed that in the first place.:-\

Try clearing the Google app cache in Settings>Apps. If that doesn't help, then also try clearing its data.

OK I cleared cache, force stopped, and rebooted. No luck, the card is still there. I'm hesitant to clear data for the Google app as I don't want to erase all the stuff Google has learned about me over the years or reset any settings (there are just too many associated with my account). I'd rather just live with the stupid card in my feed.
Thanks guys!

Clearing the data won't be a problem, because the Google app will immediately re-sync with your Google data in the cloud (don't worry, I've done this plenty of times on my phones).

Also, does this happen if you open your App Drawer and tap the Google app icon there? I wonder if the problem might have to do with the launcher rather than the Google app itself (since you mentioned accessing your Discover feed by swiping to the left on your homescreen).

Yeah only thing you have to retrain Google assistant

I think even then, Google will sync your voice model saved to the cloud, so you don't have to retrain it. I haven't had to train the voice model lately when setting up a new tablet or after doing a factory reset of a Google Home speaker, for example.

Actually I tested it again it only disables Google Voice but it's still there the trained voice, looks like updates have fixed that and don't cause to retrain again like it use to when clearing data .

It does. The card is still there when I open the app from the app drawer.

I have not yet tried signing out. Not in any betas.
I'm going to just wait and see what happens...I believe there is the monthly update on Monday. Maybe that will fix it. Sometimes these glitches just "magically" go away. ;)
Thanks.

The same thing happened to me once, with one of my phones. I have been racking my brain all day trying to remember what I did to resolve it. I think I had to remove an update to the Google app > reboot the phone > open the app and verify all was good > let it update again. As stated previously, you don't lose any Google data doing that, it's all synced in their cloud.
