Phantom Touches on new Motorola G4

I keep my screen brightness down to about like 10%. Several hours after taking it off any charger, I will still have issues. This is my second phone (first replaced via warranty). I bought my G4 from Best Buy on launch day so my warranty is done. I can try ditching my case as I know a rubber shell with a plastic surround isn't going to allow heat to easily dissipate.
