Hello! New over here, came looking for answers and support to a strange event that happened to me this past week. I was using navigation on my S9+ when I looked down to find my Google Maps Navigation screen shrink to the lower righthand corner. Mind you, I was not touching the screen. Then up pops the dialer and before I know it, one of my contacts (I rarely call) is being dialed! Again, nothing being touched beforehand. I quickly hit end and hoped the call did not go through.
I was charging my phone at the time, the screen was on and I was currently using an app (Maps). This contact was not one I had called recently. Anyone else have this happen? I checked my call log and sure nuff, there was the evidence of the call taking place. It wasn't a big deal, but can you imagine this happening when I wasn't looking directly at the phone, and it leaving a strange voicemail of background chatter? It could turn out to be quite embarrassing! Anybody have any idea on how to prevent this??
Thanks!
PS. I'm not positive, but I am almost sure I heard the Google voice prompt before the number dialed.
