Phone call power switch issue

I don't know if anyone has experienced this but at first I originally thought it was the proximity sensor but now that that has been fixed I can tell its not. When I'm on a phone calland the screen turns off if I press the power button repeatdlytoo fast at tines to get it back on, it will make the display never come back on till the call is done. Problem is I can't hang Iup if the screen won't turn back on, if anyone is experiencing this please lemme know. I'll be more specific if ppl don't understand

So when the screen turns off during a call due to the proximity sensor it doesn't turn back on when you take the phone away from your head? And then at that point it won't always turn the screen back on until the call ends no matter what you do? Not sure I completely understand, but let me know if that's correct/correct me if it's not.

Alright so basically let me try to explain this, at first I had proximity issues while in a call and I figured that it was just that but the software update fixed that, what I'm experiencing now is when I try to turn the screen on manually sometimes while on a call with the power button, if I press it twice or too fast it makes the screen never come back on again without ending the call or having to hold the power button for 20 sec to reset

I think what you are doing is confusing the system, The ProxSen is trying to send a signal to turn the display back on and You are in fact overiding that signal and really turning the display off by hitting the power button . This is why it takes some time after hitting the button a 2nd time to come back up.

Have you tried to just tap the Home button or giving it a sec to come back up after removing it from face .

So are you trying to turn the display back on when you have it held to your head and the proximity sensor turned it off or when it's on speakerphone or something and the display timed out and turned itself off that way? Either way I'm not sure why you'd be having issues. When I was messing with mine it came back on immediately when I took it away from my head, and off when I put it back, and when I had it held to my head I could still turn on the display, over-riding the proximity sensor turn off.
