Phone calls now show smart in front of number called

I just recently noticed this occurring on some calls.

Can anyone tell me what the purpose is?

Smart caller ID. It uses an online database to identify the number instead of the caller ID the carrier is broadcasting (which can be spoofed).

Hi, is it unlocked version?
In call app settings I believe it's for caller id and Spam

Yes it is unlocked. I am on Roger's network in Canada.

I am posting 2 screenshots. The one showing the smart symbol is Samsung app the other which doesn't show the smart symbol or even the name of the number called is Google phone app, which switched from when I bought the S22ultra. I notice the name says Back instead of Bank. Weird.
I have cller ID and Spam checked on the phone and checked the box "Block all...."

Re both replies above I have read all that documentation which refers to INCOMING CALLS these are outgoing calls and I don't see why they would be part of this Samsung/Hiya project which is to combat spam/fraud. I am all for the recognition of spam/fraud calls but outgoing calls should not be part of this process.
I suppose if I uncheck caller and Id to off this will not occur with outgoing calls.

I would think the Smart Call system is also identifying the number you're calling, which is how you're seeing the full name of the company listed there.

I suppose if someone was calling a number provided and the name was for something unknown it would be an alert to be careful
