I'm finding that when I'm in a call, if I have to use the dial pad to select anything for those computer operators, the numbers on the dialpad don't works at all. At least not the ones that are in the white that are in the phone app in the recents menu.
That's the one you use to make the call in the first place.

But, if I swipe down to the call in progress dialog that dialpad works just fine. Weird and annoying but at least I found out how to get something. The problem with this is that you have to be real careful not to hang up from that little rectangle. Also if you go into recent, they is only the other phone app as an option. Anyone know if this is a lollipop issue or something with ZenUI that they may need to fix?

It looks like the dialpads are different. Use the In Call dialpad, which is the one with the dark background. The one with the light background is only used to initiate the call. Kind of an odd quirk--I've never tried this on my Nexus 5, but I suspect it's a ZenUI thing.

That's what I figured. It kept bothering me though because it seemed like the numbers should be registering. At least now I know the truck and we'll swipe down to the active call. It seems like every other call I make has me press a number somewhere down the line these days.

That is odd, I have used the keypad while on a call and I didn't have any issues, I will have to give it another try tomorrow to see if the same issue crops up.
