phone did not ring when someone calls me

I have been using Thunderbolt for 2 weeks. This happened today, when people were trying to call me I wasn't getting any calls (Of course i didn't know about it until someone told me in person). They were right, I was unable to call myself from desk phone.
Finally I rebooted my phone and it worked.. But I am not liking this.. this is a bad news.. anyone else had this issue?

Note: This happened only once.. so I will be keeping an eye on this going forward.

Nop. The phone was on the table and we tried to call 10 different times from 4 different phones. Basically 4G was up but the phone part was dead. I was getting calls few hours prior to that so something happened and it stopped working.
If this was happened yesterday I would have returned the phone but now I am out of 14 day period. I purchased the first day (Thursday).

Ok....this is silly and you probably already know this....
But if you put the phone face down it will not ring.
This is a meeting type of feature. If you walk in a meeting, face down and it won't interrupt.
Saves you from having to fiddle with the ringer.

Was it by any chance face down?

LOL.. NO. It was on kick stand.

I should Add that it was like that overnight. I found out about this in the morning.

I never knew that so i just tried calling myself with the phone face down on the table, it rang..

I think there is a setting to activate this feature. I am not sure at the very moment where to find it, but I think I remember seeing it somewhere. HTH

I've had a similar problem -- twice. I was in an app, once in YouTube and next a game app and NO volume all of a sudden. Made sure my volume button was up -- it was. Had my friend call me -- NO sound / ringing!! Both times I had to reset phone but totally shutting down then on again. Hope this doesn't happen alot ... better yet hopefully not again!!
Also, the speakerphone doesn't work. Supposedly if on a call and you want to speaker it, you just need to flip phone over ... this does NOT work nor put it in speakerphone mode!! Help on this!! Thanks!

The speakerphone trick works for me. I use it all the time. When on a call just lay the phone face down. The speakerphone should turn on. Unless you have turned it off in the configuration.

There's a menu setting to turn this feature on, and once you do it works quite well.

Was it in the USB/disk drive mode? Obvious, but if you have a custom ringer, its saved on the SD, it doesnt read it
