Phone died, now vibrating and blinking but won't turn on

[Android Central Question]

My phone went down to 0% today and shut off. After a few hours i got around to plugging it in, and it won't charge now. It will blink the circle with the lightning bolt in it, and occasionally the samsung symbol screen (when holding the power button down for several seconds), but it still won't turn on. It vibrates the way it does when the cord isn't fully in the charging hub, but it is. I've tried switching chargers, holding buttons in, but nothing. Any suggestions?! I need help!!

Try leaving it to charge for few hours .

Welcome to Android Central! Let it charge undisturbed for at least 6 hours before you try powering on again. And try not to let the battery drain to zero on a regular basis -- that will decrease the battery's overall lifespan, sometimes pretty quickly if you do it frequently. Every now and then is ok, but as a general rule of thumb, try to start charging the phone when the battery gets down to around 30-40%.
