Phone Freaking out today, 3-28-11

Phone Is stock, keeps reboting, volume button doesn't work. Everything worked perfect last night I got up this morning and turned the volume to vibrate and it shut down. I try and send texts out does the same thing. Love the phone and I ead skilling to wait for the stock 2.2 and now I think I wil up grade to something else. It's a shame bec as ude I enjoyed the phone.

I know this is what everyone always says, but you could root your phone and use a newer, unofficial, ROM. It makes a world of difference and is pretty straightforward to do if you follow these instructions. You'll love your phone again.

Don't give up on it yet. Like eibbed said, there are alternatives that allow you to take such an issue into your own hands. As far as your reboot problem, that could be anything from a stuck button to something wrong with the system files. It'd be wise to figure out what's causing that before trying to do more with it. I assure you though, if you do a little research, which is very plainly written out in our rooting/roms/hacks section's sticky topics, you will come out with something far superior to anything else available today.

I would believe your phone is defective personally. Try uninstalling all of your apps and see what happens. If that doesn't fix it then call the warranty center.

Went into Verizon and they help me do a hard reset. Now it's working just like it should be. Just strange. I didn't add anthing new and this morning just weird?!?! Well I have two line open for new phones and I did enjoy the HTC Thunderbolt so I think tomorrow I will go get the new phone and whipe this one ad list it on eBay. Could make a great phone for someone who didn't want a contract. Desk top, Invisa shield installed and two cases. $250.00 Should work great? Thanks for everyones help

What a shame, I've noticed that though, certain apps out on the market don't play nice with all the phones out there, something to keep an eye on, anytime you download an app just watch out your phone changes, sometimes nothing happens and others your phone seems to be committing suicide.
