Phone froze/locked up on AOD screen while charging

The only step I've taken is to wipe the cache partition, honestly. Since this is an intermittent problem, my hope is that Samsung acknowledges and releases a fix before I need to do a FR or send it in for repair.

Whistling past the graveyard, I know, but it really seems like a software issue/bug - hopefully a patch can take care of it in the near future.

This happened to me this morning, woke up at 6:00 am, phone was stuck / frozen at 3:21 am and 44% battery, but the green led indicating that it was fully charged was lit. Had to do a forced restart then the phone showed the correct time and 100% battery level. What bothers me is I only have my cell phone my only phone, so while this thing is frozen I am assuming I also wouldn't receive phone calls. This is unacceptable for a phone that cost close to $1,000.

I've been having this problem as well - but not while charging. Phone on the nightstand, AOD running - freezes in the clock. First few times with just a numeric time showing, and frozen. Most recent time, the analog clock showing and the second hand ticking away - but buttons and screen unresponsive. Sure wish I could access a crash log!
