Has anyone else experienced this? My phone gets hot to the touch when fast charging, but after a while, it cools back down. Usually when it gets closer to finishing it gets cool again. Any idea why that is? And should I be worried about it heating up? I rarely fast charge for fear that the heat will cause damage

I also experience this not sure why tho... How do you turn fast charging off?

I just use the usb cable with an iphone charger that i have since that's just 1A instead of 2A like the fast charger. cute baby btw ^_^

Fast charge normally reverts to normal charge near the end, so your phone is getting hot during fast charge, but not during normal charge.

That's not normal. It's under warranty, so bring it back and let Samsung worry about it. (If you don't, and you kill the battery in a few months, it'll cost you to have it replaced.)

this is the 3rd one i've gotten that does this, and i'm not in the 14 day period anymore

I am pretty sure they all do this. I would say it is normal. Any phone with QC 2.0 will heat up due to the rapid charge at the start and then cool off after it juices up some (due to the quick charge slowing down).
