Phone Glitches Whenever it Gets Hot

Hi All,

I have an S6 on Telus (a few months old). Whenever the phone is hot (especially while charging) it doesn't work properly. It behaves like I am pressing random buttons on the screen even though I am not touching the screen at all. This make it completely unusable until it cools down.

I've tried a factory reset with no luck.

Any suggestions on how to remedy this issue would be very appreciated!

Welcome to Android Central! Are you using the original charging cable and wall plug? If not, then it might be due to a faulty or incompatible 3rd party cable. If you are using the original cable/plug, then it's possible that those are faulty--try another.

How hot is the phone getting while charging?
