Re: Ph had abnormal factory reset / now - processing failed when logging in. Help!

I've been reading everyone's answers to this. I got a new phone, and wanted to factory reset my galaxy s6 to sell it. There was some kind of glitch so the girl at Verizon had to keep playing with it to get it to do an abnormal factory reset. Everytime I try sign in it's says processing failed and won't let me get into the device. I logged into my Samsung account online and my password is correct, I'm able to see that the device is on there, and it says that the registration is pending for the device. It won't let me just delete it? Please help, I really want to sell it it's in perfect condition there's nothing wrong with it.

From what you wrote we understand that when you are trying to use the Samsung Cloud option on your device but you get the "Processing failed" message.

Regarding your inquiry, please know that the issue might have been caused by some errors from the server, therefore please Sign out of the Samsung account that is on your device (Settings > Accounts > Samsung account > tap on email address > More (three dots in the top right corner) > Remove account and then add it again Go to Settings > Accounts > Add account > Samsung account > Sign in) and then try again and see if it works.

In case the issue persists, please contact us again with the log files. In order to obtain the log files, please follow these steps:

1.The first step is to Check if the option "Debug Level" on your mobile device is Enabled/Turned on and it is set on "High" or "Mid"

- access the dialing screen on the mobile phone

- dial *#9900#

- search for Debug Level and tap on it and then select "High" afterwards (If the "High" option does not exist then please select the "Mid" option instead

- The phone will reboot itself automatically

2. Repeat the steps that lead to the situation described > when the error occurs again, afterwards generate the Logs:

- Access again the dialing screen on the phone

- dial *#9900#

- Search from the list and select "Run dumpstate" or the file could be named "logcat" or "modem log"

- Now please wait for the process to finish and check for the log file name and saved location in your device. It will be shown afterwards

- After you found it, select the option to "Copy to sdcard(include CR Ramdump)

3. Now to get the logs from the device:

Access My Files from the device's Home Screen or from the grouped icon Samsung/Tools, then tap on the ALL FILES folder.

Afterwards select the Log subfolder. Select the log files, archive them and send them back to us as an attachment so that we may further investigate
