Since yesterday - the Phone, Contacts & "up arrow" always stay on the phone, even when I scroll side to side. Its kinda of annoying. Is there a setting somewhere that I accidentally screwed with?
Phone is stock (not rooted) running 2.3.340 that I received OTA.

This just started happening yesterday - and the only thing I did yesterday is update Fruit Ninja. I tried rolling that back and the issue persisted.

Any ideas?

A restart, or removing the battery might help to fix that glitch. See how that favors for you.

I should have stated that I have turned my phone off a couple times (and all night last night).
If this wasn't happening all the time - then maybe remove and reinstall the battery might jog it back to its senses.

nope (just tried) Let the battery sit out of the phone for about 5 mins too. I suppose I could always do a hard reset....ugg.

It's a big issue. Mine has been doing it for about a week or so. I have a post in this forum on the same exact thing.

I've been working with a guy on Droid X Forum trying to figure it out, and we thought we had it narrowed down to an app that we both had, but turned out, that wasn't it. I think this is becoming a more commonplace issue and has something to do with a glitch in the most recent update. I think we're all going to have to do a factory reset and see if that clears it up. The guy I've been working with is going to reset his phone and report back to me about it and see if that fixes it.

Oh, and we've been messing with it for about a week...no reboots, battery pulls, data/cache clearing, etc., is a permanent fix. It may work for a little while, but then it returns.

I'll keep all you guys posted on this and see if we can't get it figured out. Hopefully someone here (a mod, preferably) will notice this and we can get a full fledged looking into this issue. It's really weird because it seems like it NEVER happened to anyone until the last week or so.

I uninstalled Battstatt free and pulled batt, and reset and problem is gone....Thanks wildo!

No problem. It looks like this is the problem app. Strangely enough, it was updated last Monday, right around the time this started happening. If it comes back, let me know. So far, I've had no issues since I deleted it and neither has the guy that was helping me on the Droid X Forum.

Glad it helped you out!! I was really hoping someone would get on here and let me know if it worked.
