Phone is constantly uploading

The stupid up 4G arrow on my phone has been pretty much on/off constant since I turned data on this morning when I woke up and it's sucking my battery. I don't have any apps that require syncing aside from imap email and the HTC weather clock.

Anyone else have this issue? Mystery battery drain make me crazy.

You obviously know something about android, so I wont ask are you sure its not an app syncing. But it would be my guess it would be an app like FaceBook.
Didja check battery usage stats? an check what else could be running to maybe determine if it is a rogue app

I checked battery usage and it's not showing anything out of the ordinary. I removed facebook/twitter too lol.

My current draw is also abnormally high at idle, maybe it's time for a reflash.

True it maybe the rom. and it also may be the radio settings

Nothing makes me more frustrated than mystery power draw. I normally idle at 36 to 40mA. During my phone's episodes (every few days) it goes up to 350mA.

It happens on wifi,4g, or all data off.

Well now it's pulling major power without data on at all. I'm fighting the desire to throw this thing across the room.
